Our Turtle Shells are made from Freeze Drying Charleston Chews, a candy was named after the new dance of 1922, the Charleston. As the flapper girls were hitting the floor with the new dance craze everyone fell in love with the vanilla-flavored nougat that was covered in chocolate.
The nougat in this Freeze Dried candy melts in your mouth with an enhanced flavor mixed with the chocolate coating. This is a real treat.
